The purpose of this book

The purpose of this book is to provide an evidence-based framework to guide you through preconception care and decrease the time it takes you to become pregnant. Let’s take away the confusion, take away the overwhelm and start preparing for conception. Written in a conversational tone, using over 130 medical references, this information is easy to digest, clear and most crucially, reliable.

Trying is written to support you no matter where you are at with your conception story. This book will answer some of the most commonly asked conception questions:

  • What should I do first?
  • What supplements are proven to support fertility?
  • Do I need to test my fertility?
  • What should I eat while trying to conceive?
  • Can I drink coffee?
  • Does stress really matter?
  • What lifestyle advice applies to me specifically?

Women, this book isn’t just for you… Trying also addresses the often-ignored paternal role.  With a comprehensive dive into the health of sperm, this book explains why it’s important that men address preconception care too, and what changes are likely to have significant impact.
